Step 2: Book your first session

After your first session your trainer will organise a time for your small group PT session. During that session they will work closely with you for an hour and answer any membership or training questions you might have.

Please arrive 10 minutes early. Bring a towel, water bottle and training shoes. You’ll be greeted at by a trainer who will guide you from there..

At The Bar Toowoomba, our small group sessions have 4–6 people, so you get personalised coaching, tailored exercises, and a supportive environment. Learn more here.

  • Bring a water bottle, a towel, and comfortable workout clothes. We’ll provide all the equipment and guidance you need. If you have any health concerns or injuries, please let us know before your session so we can modify as needed.

  • As long as you have medical clearance to train. Our trainers will work with you to find safe and effective modifications for any injuries or health concerns. Group training at The Bar Toowoomba is designed to be adaptable and supportive for everyone.

  • 2/217 James Street, Toowoomba, QLD, 4350. Entry is via Water Street. We are located next to National Tiles and Alliance Building & Construction.

  • There is plenty of street parking in front of the gym. Outside of business hours (9am-5pm weekdays), which is when most of our classes are, parking is free.

    If you planning on doing an open gym session on a Sunday, the PCYC Markets are nearby and are held on Sundays so it can be busier to find a park.

  • Yes! At The Bar Toowoomba, we have clean, well-maintained showers available for all members. We also have a disability-accessible bathroom to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported. Whether you’re coming straight from work or just need a quick refresh, our facilities make it easy to fit your workouts into your day.
